Hello, lovely humans! Have you heard about the company SisterGood? They’re honestly one of my favorite companies right now. You know it’s true because their products are the majority of my ever growing self-care wishlist.
I first found out about the company on Instagram after following the founder, Kel (@TheMilkWolf on IG). She’s a lovely human and we’ve grown our friendship and mutual love for each others work via the popular app. More recently I was invited to be a featured artist and share my thoughts via their ‘stories’ blog section! The company makes handmade organic and cruelty free self-care items and jewelry. If that weren’t exciting enough, the company is all about supporting and uplifting women and survivors. $2 from each item you purchase from us goes straight to our SISTERGOOD CAMPAIGN and will go towards providing free luxury self care packages for recent survivors of sexual-assault and abuse.

There are three ticket prices, depending on if you're interested in entering the makeup/costume contest or just attending. All profits from this event and its silent auctions will be donated to The Alabaster Gift and Northwest Oakland Abolitionist Hub a community group of Michigan Abolitionist Project.These local projects are anti human trafficking and human trafficking survivor support groups. Runaway Short film
Brittney Reed Head Special Effects Makeup Artist for Runaway Scifi Thriller. TK2 Films.
Beyond excited to announce my involvement in this project ,as Special FX Makeup Artist. This is from the same humans that brought you #startrekhorizon, 'Runaway' is sci-fi thriller that's set in the not so distant future where an android runs for her life. Proud to see they have exceeded their goal in support for the film, via kickstarter. Menacing Matrimony
Hello! Britt here. In early August I Joined a project with the Hidden Chambers Productions L.L.C, as head special effects makeup artist on the short film 'Menacing Matrimony', by Molade Balogun and Sandi Brinn. Here you'll see a few behind the scenes photos of my makeup set-up and some of the character makeups created by yours truly for the film. I will upload more as the footage is available! Stay tuned, folks.
Main focus on the film:
Depressed/Tired character makeups, dead makeups, stab wounds, blood and light sfx. Also, light male grooming and large tattoo coverage (torso and two arm pieces. You'll also see a practice tattoo cover up on my wrist).
